Weekly pick: Ouai hair oil

oaui hair oil

Ladies (and gentleman maybe?) I cannot stress how grateful I was to discover this wonderful product. As you know, I’ve started a weekly pick with the aim to share my absolute favorite things with you all. This week, I chose the Ouai hair oil. I stopped to test this gem one random day at Sephora because I was intrigued by the minimalist packaging and general concept of hair oil. Of course bought it immediately thereafter.

After I started coloring my hair some two years ago I’ve found that my locks have never been able to fully recover their softness or health despite constant attempts to bath in hair masks. Given my low maintenance (aka lazy) nature, I also rarely “do” my hair. Which means I really don’t take the time to brush, blow dry, and lather product on a regular basis and as a result I tend to rock the “sex hair” look. In other words, it’s always tangled. This hair oil has been a life saver in this department. I squeeze two-three pumps and run through the bottom of my hair with my hands and like magic, the tangles disappear without the pain of brushing them out. It also seems to keep my hair a bit more hydrated throughout the day and has the added bonus of smelling amazing.

If you have major tangle problems too, or just want to rub some oil in your hair (I’m sure there are benefits to this too), this would be my top pick for you.

Side note: I’m also told the tangle teezer is pretty incredible. Even my hairdresser has adopted it.

Until next time,
