Ifchic: My newest online obsession

IMG_1918

For someone who just recently quit her job (and also spent the last 3 years working behind a desk through “business hours”) I became very familiar with/obsessed with online shopping. Plus, doesn’t everyone just love to buy things with the click of a button…? I’m pretty excited to share this new online site that I’ve recently discovered where it pays to be browsing on your down time! Scroll to keep reading if you’re intrigued 🙂

#ifchic is this super fun new website that allows you to collect (literally click and store) little virtual coins that appear around the website as you browse, each of which can be worth $1 or $2, collecting up to $6 a day, saving up to $180 on a purchase at the end of the month! That’s literally $180 off any purchase! Note: I had to screenshot it because I know you’re all thinking “What?! I don’t get it…” which is basically what I thought before I tried it.

Every month on the 24th ifchic allows you to spend the coins you’ve collected as the equivalent of cash on a purchase. It’s pretty amazing, not to mention super fun! Ifchic carries some of the best contemporary designers and emerging labels around and I was pretty excited to see even a few names new to me because I’m a big fan of finding key pieces that are a bit more unique. Living in New York, especially, it’s pretty hard to stand out with your fashion. The selection is high quality, sleek and trendy so you’ll be sure to get a statement piece that others are dying to find.

So let’s see what I bought with these little coins!

I found this gorgeous skirt from Keepsake and literally pranced around downtown Chicago feeling like a flower child. Plus, it was an amazing deal after using my ifchic coins! My package arrived in a prompt few days and came in a beautiful ifchic bag that made the piece even more special. So far they’ve got me hooked on service alone.

The fabric is stunning and thick to keep it’s form so I decided to keep the skirt the highlight of my outfit. I paired it with a simple white crop from River Island (similar here) and JCrew nude ballerinas.

My favorite flower is the peony and I think I found some similarities between the print on my new favorite skirt and these beauties. Maybe that’s why I’m so obsessed. Either way, I can’t wait to start collecting and finding my next steal and I’m sure you’ll find something just as awesome on ifchic! Have fun and let me know how it goes!

xoxo
